So much has gone on since my last post. Hmmmm....where to start? Last weekend (the weekend of Lil Brother's B-day party) we spent the weekend a couple hours north of home in a hotel. The girls both had a dance competition. They are of course on different teams for the same community. This was Hollywood's first time competing. She did great. Her team took 2nd place in their division. It was really neat seeing the look on Hollywood's face when they won that. She was so happy and surprised. Love that I got to see her reaction. They sit in a circle and sometimes your child will end up with her back to you, but she was sitting so I got a full view. LOVED it.
MK's team also did awesome. She looked great! She can kick so high, it's crazy! All the other teams in her division also did great. Unfortunately MK's team didn't place this time. Their routine was flawless from what I saw, but they may have missed the "wow" factor in their routine. Most of the other teams had something unique that was new and got the crowd cheering. MK's team played it safer I think...and they did it so well...but the other teams did awesome too. I was really shocked that they didn't at least place...they looked so good. Next time!

Little brother got a haircut today...he looks so handsome. Hollywood stayed overnight at a hotel with her BFF and some other girls for her friend's birthday. They're staying at a water park type of hotel and I'm sure they'll have a blast. I worry the whole time she's gone of course. Poor MK was sick today. She had plans to go to a friend's house overnight but spent the day in her PJ's taking fever reducing meds and feeling yucky.
I have a big day tomorrow at work. Lots going on. I should go to bed. I'm also bringing MK in to the doc. She's been complaining about her back hurting for some time now off and on. But it's been mostly on lately so I figured we better check it out. I'm praying she doesn't have back issues like my mom does. She's so young to have back pain.
